Last August 2, 2023, we received the following disaster report from Pastor Alfredo Tubaña, Abra province:
“Hello! eto po ang nangyari sa house namin dahil sa flood. Grabe – lahat ng materials ko sa ministry and other things in our house tinangay ng malakas na agos ng baha.
Almost 300 houses in Abra affected.
Two years na kami dito 3 times na kami naka experience ng flood pero eto na ang pinakagrabe. Lampas 2nd floor, 3 meters taas.
Late warning. Yong Dam malayo pero River near sa amin. pag nagbukas DAM affected kami kc sa River dadaan lahat water at mababa and place namin.
There are 4 persons who died and more animals died. We have 6 families/ Church members who are living in this place. Please help us…”

Harvest for Christ Foundation, Inc., with emergency funds and the financial help of some donors, immediately sent emergency assistance funds to Pastor Alfred Tubaña to buy/distribute water, rice, groceries and food to affected families in the immediate community. Thirty-two (32) families were helped. Praise God for His provisions!!
