Feeding body and soul in five communities
| * Balagnan, Occicental Mindoro – About a hundred children showed up last week at Bro Lemuel Bas’ children’s class where parents and grandparents gladly send their young children to church every week to be fed with nutritious meals and life-sustaining word of God. * Del Gallego, Camarines Sur – Economically depressed area of Magais II is continuing to experience the wonders of God’s love through the weekly teaching and feeding program led by Bro Rustom Pel. These meals have been augmenting the nutritional needs of children living in this area in addition to the newly built water well producing potable water for the whole community. * Oas, Albay – On Sept. 21 forty children showed up for Bro Ding Marco’s teaching and a nutritious meal at the newly restarted Imacoto church. Less than a month later, two of them accepted Christ as their savior! Please pray for these children to grow in their love and knowledge of the Lord. * Polangui, Albay – Bro Manny Grencio started the children’s ministry and feeding program at Balaba Church last August. Of the 27 children, two were baptized into Christ last Sunday, Nov.17 and many of their parents have started coming to the Sunday worship services. * Kalibo, Aklan – Real Life Ministry led by Bro Romulo Subong has generated a contagious joy and enthusiasm in the church where they try to live their faith in relevant, engaging ways one of which is the children’s Feeding Program that provides nutritious food, including malunggay (moringa) which the children gladly devour. |
