Exiting Updates on HFCF Children Feeding and Teaching Ministry!
Last March, 2024, IDES (International Disaster and Emergency Services, IN, USA) provided a generous grant to partner with us as we sponsor weekly children feeding ministries among needy communities, through our local churches in the Philippines. We praise God for His loving provisions!
We are halfway into this project, and these are the key updates:
- We have 23 feeding sites conducting this project, ministering to more than a thousand children every week. The 23 sites are spread among 16 provinces
- For June, we added Pembo COC in Makati, which ministers to families/children of inmates/former inmates of the city jail in Taguig. (see pictures below). Two hundred seventy-five children and adults were accommodated, with the local police force helping the team secure the site (locally known as “along the riles”).
- God used the children feeding project (adults/ families are accommodated in needy areas) to call several unbelievers to Himself: one in Garchitorena (Cam. Sur), and seven in Abra (Ilocos Region). Praise God for His unfailing love and mercies!
