Important Update: Manila Bible Seminary (MBS)

***OFFICIAL NOTICE OF DISCONTINUATION OF CONTRACT FOR FUNDS FORWARDING SERVICES BETWEEN HARVEST FOR CHRIST FOUNDATION INC., AND MANILA BIBLE SEMINARY ***

It is indeed a privilege to have partnered with the Manila Bible Seminary these past few months as your forwarding agent in the United States. We have seen the hand of God moving through people who live in the United States/Canada who have manifested their love for the work of MBS by sending their financial support to, and through us. We sincerely hope that the Harvest for Christ Foundation has helped you all these past few months as we served as your US-based forwarding agent.

However, recent changes have constrained us to discontinue this service. Although our contract allows both parties to unilaterally terminate this contract without the need for further justification or explanation for such a decision, the major reason for our decision is that simply we are now short-staffed, and that no one can handle the MBS account as effectively and judiciously as we are supposed to. We are currently in the midst of several major endeavors and projects, and with all the paperwork, communications and follow-up/ coordination required by these ongoing major projects, we find ourselves starting to overlook/neglect several significant timelines and commitments. These major projects require considerable funding and commitment of precious time and resources, and we can no longer tolerate such oversights on our part. All our working staff are voluntary, hence the need to cut back on our secondary endeavors, allowing us to focus on the primary missions.

Since our contract stipulates a minimum of thirty-day written notice, we are sending this formal notice to notify you that September 7, 2018, will be the cut-off date when will send all August and September month-to-date donations which have been sent to us. After this date, we will forward all MBS-checks/donations we may continue to receive to such official address that you will so designate to receive them. I have suggested to Eder that it may be helpful to work with a local church, which is normally recognized/ designated by the IRS as a 501-c-3 organization, since organizing, registering and setting-up a 501-c-3 organization may take several months to process. We shall endeavor to assist you as best as we can as you move forward, so please feel free to contact us should you feel we can be of any help.

We will help inform donors and churches of this change by also posting an update on our website and Facebook group page, which I know you will likewise do so we can reach as many as we can.

Indeed, “… the fields are white and ready for the harvest, and the laborers are few…”. We will continue to pray to the Lord of the Harvest so He will prepare and send out His workers into the fields. Likewise, we will continue praying for you all as you endeavor to prepare His workers for the great harvest ahead.

We serve a risen and victorious King!

Your fellow servants in the Lord’s kingdom work,
