History

The foundation aims to continue and expand the missionary work in the Philippines started by the late Bro. Diego, and Sis. Maria Romulo.

Evangelism Strategies Philippine Mission (ESPM) was incorporated in the Philippines in 1990 with sole support coming from churches and individual brethren from the United States and other parts of the globe.  ESPM gave financial and material assistance to ministers, teachers and workers in the “field.”

Bro. Diego and Sis. Maria also conducted seminars, revival meetings, DVBS and teachers’ training classes throughout the Philippines. They helped in benevolent work among the local congregations and assisted in chapel building projects. Countless Christian workers and leaders have attended the seminars and workshops they have conducted through the years. They have devoted more than six decades of their lives to the ministry in the Philippines.

Even after the passing away of Bro. Diego, Sis. Maria was still actively involved in literature ministry and teachers’ training through the Romulo Memorial Resource Center. And even when she was already in the Nursing home, she participated as much and as long as she could with the programs and activities.

Our beloved parents planted the seeds for today’s HFCF Ministry through their diligent labor and perseverance.  They established ESPM in the Philippines during the 1980’s which became the roots for the Harvest For Christ Foundation’s goals and aspirations – to encourage and support the Lord’s kingdom work in the Philippines.
